Allergic Rhinitis VA Disability Rating
Allergic rhinitis is rated under DC 6522. The two brackets are determined by polyps and nasal obstruction. Many burn-pit-exposed veterans are now service-connected for rhinitis under PACT Act presumptions.
Rating criteria
| Rating | Criteria |
|---|---|
| 10% | Without polyps but with greater than 50% obstruction of nasal passage on both sides, OR complete obstruction on one side. |
| 30% | With polyps. |
