COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) VA Disability Rating
COPD rates under DC 6604 using pulmonary function tests (FEV1, FEV1/FVC ratio, DLCO). PACT Act presumptive for post-9/11 burn-pit-exposed veterans. Also common secondary to chronic tobacco use or asbestos exposure.
Rating criteria

| 30% | FEV-1 56-70%, OR FEV-1/FVC 56-70%, OR DLCO 56-65%. |
| 60% | FEV-1 40-55%, OR FEV-1/FVC 40-55%, OR DLCO 40-55%, OR maximum oxygen consumption 15-20 ml/kg/min. |
| 100% | FEV-1 less than 40%, OR FEV-1/FVC less than 40%, OR DLCO less than 40%, OR maximum oxygen consumption less than 15 ml/kg/min, OR cor pulmonale, OR requires outpatient oxygen. |
