Hepatitis C VA Disability Rating
Hepatitis C rates under DC 7354 based on serologic evidence + clinical symptoms (fatigue, hepatomegaly, malaise) + biopsy findings. Direct service connection common via blood transfusions, immunizations (air gun injectors pre-1997), or in-service IV drug use (where service-connected).
Rating criteria
| Rating | Criteria |

| 0% | Nonsymptomatic. |
| 10% | Intermittent fatigue, malaise, anorexia or hepatomegaly with related fatigue. |
| 20% | Daily fatigue, malaise, anorexia (without weight loss); OR incapacitating episodes of fatigue, malaise, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, arthralgia, right upper quadrant pain having a total duration of at least 2 weeks per year. |
| 40% | Daily fatigue, malaise, anorexia with minor weight loss, OR incapacitating episodes totaling at least 4 weeks per year. |
| 60% | Daily fatigue, malaise, anorexia with substantial weight loss, OR incapacitating episodes totaling at least 6 weeks per year. |
| 100% | Near-constant debilitating symptoms. |
