Hyperthyroidism (DC 7900) and Graves' disease are rated by symptom severity. Common to file alongside heart-rate elevation, weight loss, tremor, and eye complications (exophthalmos).

Rating criteria

RatingCriteria
10%Tachycardia, tremor, and increased pulse pressure or BP.
30%Above + emotional instability, fatigability, OR muscular weakness.
60%Above + weight loss, sleeplessness, OR more than one of the previously listed symptoms.
100%Thyroid enlargement, tachycardia of greater than 100 BPM, increased pulse pressure or blood pressure, increased perspiration, AND tremor, emotional instability, weight loss, etc.
