Hypothyroidism VA Disability Rating
Hypothyroidism (DC 7903) is rated by symptom severity and degree of treatment-required-vs-treatment-responsive disease. Hypothyroidism was added to the Agent Orange presumptive list in 2021.
Rating criteria
| Rating | Criteria |
|---|---|
| 10% | Fatigability, OR continuous medication required for control. |
| 30% | Fatigability, constipation, mental sluggishness. |
| 60% | Muscular weakness, mental disturbance, weight gain. |
| 100% | Cold intolerance, muscular weakness, cardiovascular involvement, mental disturbance, bradycardia, and sleepiness. |
