Plantar Fasciitis VA Disability Rating
Plantar fasciitis received its own diagnostic code (5269) in the 2021 update to the VA Schedule for Rating Disabilities. The brackets track response to treatment and whether the condition is unilateral or bilateral. Bilateral plantar fasciitis automatically rates higher than unilateral.
