Terms of Service
By accessing VetDisabilityCalc (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Site is operated by Zoom Lifestyle LLC ("we", "us"), a Delaware limited liability company.
1. Reference use only
The Site is provided for educational and reference purposes. Nothing on the Site is legal, medical, or financial advice. The combined rating calculator estimates a combined disability percentage and monthly compensation based on the formula in 38 CFR 4.25 and the published VA compensation tables; it does not replace an official VA rating decision and does not account for every factor a VA Rating Specialist considers (bilateral factor, special monthly compensation, individual unemployability, paragraph 29 / 30 / 31 entitlements, etc.).
2. Not VA-accredited
We are not accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs under 38 CFR 14.626 and we do not prepare, present, or represent VA claims. For accredited representation, use the VA Office of General Counsel directory of Veterans Service Organizations, claims agents, and attorneys.
3. License to use the Site
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial reference purposes. You may not (a) scrape or harvest content for commercial republication; (b) reverse-engineer the calculator for inclusion in a competing product; (c) frame, mirror, or republish substantial portions of the Site; or (d) use the Site to send unsolicited communications. Educational fair use (citing a single figure with attribution and a link to the source page) is welcome.
4. Intellectual property
The original text, layout, calculator code, and graphic assets on the Site are copyright Zoom Lifestyle LLC. Federal regulations (38 CFR), official VA forms, and VA.gov content are public domain works of the U.S. government and are not subject to our copyright; we present them as reference material.
5. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites and services (VA.gov, accredited representatives, affiliate partners). We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or policies. Following an outbound link is at your own risk.
6. No warranty
The Site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement. We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep rating criteria, compensation figures, and regulatory citations current, but the Code of Federal Regulations changes, the VA publishes annual COLA updates, and individual cases vary. Always verify against the official source before making a claim decision.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zoom Lifestyle LLC, its officers, members, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, claims, benefits, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
8. DMCA / copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Site infringes a copyright you own, send a DMCA notice to our designated agent at the address listed on our Contact page. The notice must include: (i) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent; (ii) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (iii) identification of the URL of the allegedly infringing material; (iv) your contact information; (v) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (vi) a statement that the information in the notice is accurate.
9. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
